Veronica J. (Lachacz) Janik, 95 years old, passed away on January 19, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born in North Tonawanda on April 7 1924, the daughter of the late John and Mary A. (Zdunek) Lachacz Sr.

She was the loving wife of the late Fred Janik who passed away on January 13, 1982.

Mrs. Janik was a loving mother to her four children and their spouses, Fred W. (Debra) Janik, Conrad J. (Marlene) Janik, Bruce (Julia) Janik and Tierney A. (Randy) Ritz. She was the proud grandmother of Conrad J. Janik, Jr., Katie A. Janik (Rick) and Christopher E. (Lindsay) Janik; and great-grandmother to Autumn C. Zuppelli and Grace A. Janik. She was also aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph Lachacz, John Lachacz, Theodore Lachacz and Zigmund Lachacz.

We will miss her dearly but know she is now with her loved ones and at peace.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 64 Center Avenue, North Tonawanda. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
