Tracey A. Baker, age 48 of Middleport, died March 27, 2018, surrounded by her family in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. She was born August 16, 1969 in Medina to Wayne and Colleen (Tylec) Chaplin, and had lived in the area her entire life.
Tracey was a 1987 graduate of Royalton Hartland Central School, a member of St. Stephen's R.C. Church, and had a tremendous sense of humor. She loved going out for dinner, enjoyed reading and shopping, was an avid football fan, loved to travel. She had a deep love for her grandma, Grace. As a very family oriented person, she idolized her children and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving partner, Jeffrey Wells; her children, Skyler Baker of Lockport, Brenna Baker of FL, Connor (Alex Howard) Baker of Lockport; her sisters, Amy (Chip) Niethe of Cape Vincent; half-sister, Kate (Brian) Lewis of CA; her mother, Colleen (Bill) Lewandowski of Medina; grandchildren, Eden Elizabeth Braun, Ellie Grace Baker; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; three nephews, Nicholas and Alexander Niethe, Declan Lewis; special close aunt, Cindy Tylec; long-time special friend, Tracy Ehrmann of NC; and her three dogs, Tucker, Gunnar and Moxxie.
The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State Street, Middleport, Monday from 4-8 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend Tracey's Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11 AM in St. Stephen's R.C. Church, S. Vernon Street, Middleport. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, 210 John Glenn Drive #3, Buffalo, NY, 14228.
