Thomas F. Moran Obituary
Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Thomas F. Moran of Holliston, MA, formerly of Lockport, NY, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at age 73. Born June 9, 1948, son of the late Joseph and Harriet Moran, Tom was raised in Appleton, NY.
Tom attended Barker schools, Niagara County Community College and The University of Buffalo. He worked for the Niagara County social services department, as a child protective caseworker.
Tom loved to travel the world with Jackie, was an excellent chef and baker, a self-taught woodworker, always working on the next project for his family. Tom was an active member of the Lockport chapter of Toastmasters for over 30 years, which led him to participate in many murder mysteries to raise money for charity.
He is preceded in death by his sibling, William Moran; and is survived by brother, Patrick Moran; and sisters, Carol Hotaling and Marcia Tillotson. He is also survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline (Christiano) Moran; children, Fenton Moran, Garrett Moran, Adam M. (Amber) Moran, Shannon L. (Erik) LeMoullec, Jennifer L. (Brian) Doyle and Natalie A. (Andy) Eick. Tom was a devoted and adored "Papa" to his 12 grandchildren, Conlan and Brannen Moran, Joseph, Jackson, Addison and Lucy Doyle, Avery and Charleigh Eick and Hayden, Reese, Ryder and Harlow LeMoullec; and his special neighbor grandchildren, Delaney and Colin. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
