I was so sorry to hear of Sue’s passing and wanted to leave a note of condolence for her family. It is my hope you find comfort in knowing the great impact she has had in the world. She was a tireless and compassionate advocate for so many children in Western New York.
I worked as a volunteer in Sue’s Spina Bifida Clinic, and met my husband - a future Urologist - at the Independence Camp. Sue wrote my first recommendation letter. She touched my life, and so many others.
And to live a life that leaves a legacy not only in your own immediate family, but with hundreds of patients, co-workers, and volunteers is a life well lived.

I was so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. Not only was she a classmate but her influence at Children's Hospital with the Spina Bifida Clinic was a lifesaver for our daughter Megan, when she was a baby. Carol, you and your family have my sincere sympathy. She will be sadly missed.
