Susan Jeanette Ficarra, age 62 of Niagara Falls, entered into rest on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Roswell Cancer Institute. Born July 8, 1954 in Tonawanda, Susan is the daughter of Dorothy (Lilley) Patterson.
Susan was an avid arts and crafts enthusiast. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Patterson of Cape Coral, Florida, husband: Michael Hanel and a son, Christopher (Stephanie) Ficarra. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Tiffany Ficarra, Justin Ficarra and Ryan Holtz. Sister of: Charlie (Shauna) Lynch. Sue is also survived by several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Valyn Secrist.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane, NY on Tuesday from 6-8 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at 8 pm.
