Stephen F. Morse Obituary

Stephen F. Morse, of Medina, went to his eternal home on August 21, 2022. Born on Christmas Day, 1936 in Corning; he was a son of the late James and Lila (Miller) Morse.

He worked as a radiologic technologist at Buffalo Children's Hospital for 19 years and served for 10 years in the Army National Guard, Connecticut Street Armory. Stephen retired from Medina Memorial Hospital in 1998 after 42 years in the profession.

Stephen is fondly remembered as Santa Claus to several generations of children and adults. Former member of the Medina and Middleport United Methodist Church and currently East Shelby Community Bible Church. He belonged to the Medina Lions Club, Middleport Community Choir, Towpath Masonic Lodge #1193, Canalside Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #381 and the Kairos Prison Ministry at Wende Prison.

Beloved husband of Pat Morse; devoted dad to Michael (Lili Folsom) Morse and Wendy Ehrenfeld; Papa to Benjamin (Cecelia) Raker Ehrenfeld; Great-Papa to Gavriel Dov Raker Ehrenfeld; brother of Virginia Cullivan, Doris Morse and Sylvia (Robert) Harriger; uncle to countless nieces and nephews. Stephen has enjoyed loving relationships with the Heil family, the Pitcher family and Lynn Geraci.

Visitation Thursday 4-7:00PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Masonic and Eastern Star services will be observed. Celebration of life Saturday 11:00AM at the East Shelby Community Bible Church, 5278 E. Shelby Rd., Medina. Interment Boxwood Cemetery.
