Medina, NY - Sidney E. Cree, 95, of Medina, died September 13, 2025.
A son of the late Morris and Susan (Lefebvre) Cree, he was born November 2, 1929 in Oka, Quebec on the Kanestake Reserve. Mr. Cree worked as a tree foreman for Niagara Tree Experts and lastly for Niagara Mohawk for many years.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Iola Cree in 2010; and siblings, Helen Simon, Stanley Cree, Rodger Cree, Hilda Garcia, Hubert Cree and Wallace Cree; and son-in-law, Loren Schrader.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Betty (Gordon) Grimes, Lillian Schrader, Morris Cree and Russell (Cheryl) Cree; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Noreen Cree and Mavis Etienne.
Calling hours Monday, September 22 from 1-4 and 5-8 PM at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Road, Medina. Funeral on Tuesday, September 23 at 1PM at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Oak Orchard Assembly of God at the address above. Share condolences at cooperfuneralhome.com.
