Lockport, ny - Sharon C. Stranges entered into rest July 7, 2025 in the Niagara Hospice House. Born July 8, 1930, she was daughter of Harold and Mary (Howe)Caldwell.

Sharon worked at Lockport Memorial Hospital in the maternity ward and was part owner of J & S Stables with her husband, Joseph, whom she was married to for 72 years.

Sharon will be remembered as a beautiful woman with a warm smile and unconditional love. She was kind, thoughtful, and generous, along with a great sense of humor. Memories of her delicious meals and family time will never be forgotten. She enjoyed golf outings, cards, and board games.

Her positivity and words of encouragement gave strength. She is at peace and will be remembered eternally to all who knew her.

Beloved wife of Joseph Stranges. Beloved mother of Joel Stranges, Tim (Vicki) Stranges, Nicholas (Cynthia) Stranges and Mary (Jay) Patterson. Cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of six. Dear sister of Colleen (William) Harvey and the late Viola Qualiana. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at All Saints Parrish. Memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
