Robert Alan Pettit, beloved husband of Judith Dussault Pettit of Newfane, passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 87. He was a friend to everyone and had a passion for playing golf and his weekly poker game.

He grew up in Newfane where he made a lasting impact in the community as a member of the Town Council. He served his country in the U.S. Army and owned and operated L.E. Pettit Appliance Store until he retired. In retirement he drove school buses for Newfane School District.

In addition to his wife Judith, he is survived by his children Lawrence (Judith) Pettit of Scottsdale, AZ and Mathew (Brenda) Pettit of Livonia, MI as well as grandchildren Andrew and Ryan Pettit in Scottsdale, AZ and Abigail and Donovan Pettit in Livonia, MI.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Laurence Pettit and Margaret Sundstrom Pettit and his sister, Sharon (Lou) Sullivan and brother, Larry Lee Pettit.
