Wilson, New York - Robert Briggs, 61, of Wilson, died suddenly December 28, 2019. He was born November 28, 1958 in Newfane, a son of Deloris (Smith) Briggs and the late William Luther Briggs.
Bob was a graduate of Newfane High School and loved spending time with his friends, four- wheeling and hot rods.
In addition to his father, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Debra Lawrence. He is survived by his mother, Deloris Briggs; and niece, Lynn Draper; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 E. Avenue, Newfane, NY 14108. Bob's Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 3, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
