Floral City, FL - Rita F. (Rann-Johnston) Spear passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at home in Floral City, FL. Born in Lockport, NY on November 20, 1938, to the late Michael and Rose (Ranney) Rann. Rita was a long-term resident of Olcott Beach, New York.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband Alan Spear and is survived by her children Stacey (Dennis) Pomietlasz, Gordon Johnston II, Heidi (Jeremy) Kilburn; grandmother of Jennifer (Kevin) Moore, James Zeitz, Anthony (Nicki) Zeitz, Harley Hartigan, Daniel Horton and Duchess Karre; Great-grandchildren; Aidan, Caleb, Kira, Owen, Quinn, Verity, Ximon Moore; Hailey, Kylie, Anthony Jr. Zeitz; Jehkyra and Camei Williams. Rita was the sister of the late Josephine Fitzgerald, Michael Rann, Mary Rose Bouchard and Joseph Rann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life ceremony is to be scheduled at a later date.
