Phyllis P. Bassler, 91 of Newfane, passed away September 28, 2021. She was born August 20, 1930 in Lockport, the daughter of the late Howard and Mildred (Garner) Weaver.
Phyllis had lived in Newfane most of her life. In 1950, Phyllis married Kenneth C. Bassler at Warrners Corners.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth C. Bassler; son, Kenneth H. Bassler; daughter, Bonnie Gimmey; brother, Ronald; and son-in-law, David Bolton.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Bolton and Sandy (Mike) Ryan; grandchildren, Mathew (Karen) Gimmey, Michelle Gimmey, Michael Bolton and Heather (Tony) Ark; great-grandchildren, Brianna Lockhart, Anthony, Alexander and Ashton Ark; sister, Doreen Williams; son-in-law, Paul Gimmey; and several nieces and nephews.
All services will be private.
