Pearl L. Goerss of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. She was born in Medina, NY, on March 6, 1935, the daughter of the late Earl R. and Edna L. (Pritchard) Kiser.

Mrs. Goerss graduated from Lockport Senior High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and having everyone over for Sunday dinner.

Mrs. Goerss was the wife of 50 years to the late Arnold C. Goerss, who passed away in February of 2008. She is survived by three sons, Stephen (Diane) Goerss, Scott (Kimberly) Goerss and Arnold Goerss, Jr.; daughter, Susie (Charly) Kinne; nine grandchildren, Jenni (Nick) Paterson, Holly (Ezra) Staley, Sabrina (Arthur) Luke, Nathan (Carolyne) Kinne, Heather (Casey) Costello, Amy (Tony) Aquino, Stacey, Timothy (Tabatha) and Hayden Goerss; one brother, Raymond Kiser. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Goerss was the sister of the late Earl and Harold Kiser, Elizabeth Winters, Emily 'Jean' Smith and Nora Fellabick.

Private funeral services were held at the wishes of her family at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 453 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Sanborn, NY.
