Norman A. Blosser Obituary

Wheatfield, New York - Norman A. Blosser, of Lockport, NY, born on Christmas Day in 1942, passed away on June 15, 2026. Norman's love for his family and his community was evident in everything he did.

Norm enjoyed a fulfilling career with General Motors as a Press Man before retiring. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for Blosser Farms, where he raised grains and beef cattle. A staunch fan of John Deere tractors, he found joy in the simple act of making hay. He was an active member of the Niagara County Tractor Pullers, Niagara County 4H,and the Wolcottsville Fire Co.

Loving husband of the late Linda Blosser, to whom he was married for over 51 years; cherished father to Mary Lou (Robert) Groff; proud grandfather to Odin Groff, Robert (Katie) Groff, Jr., and Joshua (Ashley Friedman) Groff; dear brother-in-law to Gerald Smith, Ron (Marshall) Criswell, Carol Cummings, Judy Smith, and Cheri Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Edna Blosser, his wife, Linda, and his sister, Shirley (late Marvin) Roberts.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 7PM on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Ross Funeral Home of Akron, LLC., 10 Eckerson Avenue, Akron, NY 14001, where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2026.
