Molly Strassel Obituary

Naples, FL - Molly Elizabeth Strassel, 62 of Naples, passed away in Orlando after battling Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She was born in Newark, New York to Joanne Sheehan Strassel Mullane and Donald Curtis Strassel, both of Lockport.

Molly's family relocated to Plantation, Florida when she was a child. She went to school in Plantation and Lockport, and graduated from Lockport High. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University.

Molly owned and operated Molly's Marine service, in Naples from 2010 to 2024 which was easily recognizable by the 70-ton marine travel lift, painted pink, making her woman-owned business known in the Naples boating community.

Besides running her business, Molly was a talented baker, and those lucky enough to taste her cakes, pies won't soon forget them! Above all, Molly will be remembered for the love she carried for her friends and family. There are many sad hearts at this loss.

Molly is survived by five siblings, Susan Strassel Gilman, Curtis Strassel, Michael Strassel, Stephen Strassel and Mary Beth Strassel Gilman, five nieces, six nephews and 12 grand-nieces and nephews.

Molly was an active member of the Marine Industries Association of Collier County and to honor her legacy Molly's family requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the MIACC Foundation. MIACC.org/foundation
