Mary Ellen Parker
It's with great sadness that the family of Mary Ellen Parker announces her passing on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Hospice House.
Mary was born in and lived in Lockport all her life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mary devoted her time and love to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved decorating for the holidays and cheering for the Buffalo Bills. No family gathering or celebration was complete without her amazing potato salad and deviled eggs. Her family was everything to Mary.
Mary was a kind and compassionate nurse's aide for over 30 years at St. Clare Manor. She loved the residents as her own family and took great pride in her job, often going the extra mile to make them feel special.
She was the loving wife of William Parker to whom she was married 64 years. She was a devoted and loving mother to Wendy (Michael) Thayres, Lawrence (Jennifer) Parker, Randall (Susie) Parker, and Timothy (Lynne) Parker.
Her greatest joy was her 13 grandchildren, Lindsay (Brandon) Marvin, Ryanne (Michael) Wolfe, Dustin (Kerry) Ludke, Bryan (Dawn) Parker, Megan Parker, Jillian (Joseph) Mangiafesto, Steven (Allyson) Stevens, Danielle (Derek) Fish, Jordan (Isabel) Thayres, Brett Parker, Zachary Parker, Marissa Parker (fiance James Devoe) and Samuel Parker; her nine great-grandchildren always put a smile on her face, Carson and Isabella Marvin, Parker and Nolan Wolfe, William Ludke, Avalene, Derek, Declan and Lila Fish.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Walter & Margaret (Yoder) Stauder. Mary is also predeceased by eight siblings, Donald Stauder, Raymond Stauder, Arlene Stieg, Marion Ames, Geraldine Bumpers, Walter Stauder Jr., Jane Stauder and Joyce Mawhiney. Mary has several nieces and nephews that will miss her.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Niagara Hospice House or a charity of your choice.

I'm so glad that I got to talk and visit with her this past month, she showed me all her clown collection and let me know who all the people were in the pictures that she had hanging up on her walls. The sweetest Aunt that any one could have!
