Lockport, New York - Marion Halstead passed July 10, 2017. Born December 15, 1931 to her Greek immigrant parents, late Peter and Vasiliki Vasilion. Marion was a teacher at Starpoint and various Buffalo schools and a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
She was married to the late Wayne Halstead and she is also predeceased by her beloved brother, Dr. Peter Vasilion.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Robert) Kline and Linda (Paul) Schumacher; grandsons, Tyler and Steven; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 13 at Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, 263 East Ave., Lockport, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Memorial service to be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 14 at 10 AM, with burial following.
