Margaret A. "Peggy" Mulcahy, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 8, 1944, a daughter of the late Gerald and Mary [Baltes] Vogt.
Peggy was a graduate of Starpoint and became a customer service representative with New York Telephone from 1965 until retiring in 1997.
She, along with her husband John, operated Soldier Boy Miniatures and was one of the TY Beanie Baby Ladies.
Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting and traveling.
She was the wife of the late Ralph A. Jeffords and John J. Mulcahy.
Mrs. Mulcahy is survived by her children Joanne Kugler, Julie Jeffords and Jason Jeffords; four grandchildren Brianna, Amy (Stefino), Tyler and Aiden, stepchildren of Sean (Bridget) Mulcahy, Kathllen (Mark) Tyers, Maureen (Michael) Francher, Tara (Paul) Goodman, Tracy (Eric) Bloom; siblings Nancy Sybil, Marilyn (Albert) Verheyn, Joseph Vogt, Peter (Faye) Vogt, Mary Lou (Steven) Ribbeck, Thomas (Sue) Vogt, Cindy (Chris) Busch, also 16 stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and her constant companion Duffy.
She was the mother of the late John Jeffords, stepmother of the late Margaret Phillips and sister of the late Donald Vogt.
Her family will be present on Tuesday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
Everyone is invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY. Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
