Lawrence Joseph Banks Obituary

Lawrence Joseph Banks died after a brief illness on March 9, 2023 in Lockport Rehab and Health Care Facility. Born June 28, 1938 in Niagara Falls he was a son of the late George and Ruth (Malloy).

A 1956 graduate of Wilson High School, he entered the Army in 1956 to 1957. A lifelong carpenter belonging to Local 280 of Niagara Falls, he also owned his business Kenner Construction in Wilson. He retired in 2017 as the Town of Wilson Building Inspector also taking on the village as part of his responsibilities. Lawrence met Diane Reppentine in 1966 and they were married for 56 years.

Surviving besides his wife are two sisters, Mary (Mark) Pioli and Margaret Moore; two daughters Tracey (John) Malloy, Sherri (Craig) Roath; four grandsons Mason Timian, Brian and James Malloy and Owen Timian. Predeceasing besides his parents are Teresa Webster, Adrian and Paul Banks.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 PM in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson. A private burial will take place at North Ridge Cemetery hamiltonclarkonline.com.
