Olcott, NY - Kent Sylvester of Olcott, NY died at home on April 24, 2025 after a long battle with ALS.
He was born in Medina, NY to parents Kenneth and Nettie Sylvester. He graduated from Alfred State College and worked at Blue Cross of Western New York for over 20 years. Kent loved spending time with friends, golfing, and telling stories that he was known for embellishing from time to time.
Kent was predeceased by his father Kenneth and is survived by his wife Sandi, son Steve, mother Nettie, sisters Darlene Marzouk and Dawn McDonald, brother Scott Sylvester (Kimberly), several nieces, nephews and many longtime friends. He is also survived by his four-legged best friend, Buddy.
A celebration of his life will be held on June 7th at Noon at 5971 Washington St., Olcott.
