Kathleen M. Burns passed away on December 20, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1942, a daughter of the late Henry and Matilda (Pearce) Rohde in Lockport, NY. Kathleen was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Hubert Burns, who passed in April of 2021.

Kathleen was also predeceased by siblings Audrey (late Paul) Joensen and James (late Janet) Rohde. She is survived by her sister Marion (late Joseph) Montemayor. She is also survived by her children Timothy Burns, Kevin (Ruth Elise) Burns, Kelly (David) Tyler; grandchildren Deanna Burns, Alec (Lauren) Burns, Steven Burns and Brooklyn Tyler. She is also survived by many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was a welfare examiner for Niagara County Social Services for 26 years retiring in 2002. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 5-8PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10 AM in All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport, NY. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery. While Alzheimer's Disease may have taken Kathleen's memories, she will always be remembered for her caring heart, fun spirit and love of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
