Joseph  Godzisz
Joseph R. Godzisz, of Lockport, entered into rest November 2, 2019 in Newfane Rehabilitation Health Center. Born May 12, 1943 in Lockport, he was the son of the late Stephen F. and Amelia Grendisa Godzisz.
Joseph worked for many years at the City of Lockport Waste Water Treatment Plant. Joe's passions in life included fishing, the NY Yankees and bowling - once bowling a near perfect 300 game at Allie Brandt's Bowling Alley; Joe finished with a 299.
Brother of Robert (Dolores) Godzisz of Lockport, Paulette (William) Allen of Niagara Falls, and Susan (Rodney) Neubauer of Pendleton. Nephew of Helen (late John) Fura of Lockport. Dear friend of Barbara Arns. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brendan on the Lake Church, 3455 Ewings Rd., Newfane, on Tuesday morning (Nov. 19) at 10 AM. Inurnment Glenwood Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the employees of Newfane Rehab & Health Care for their loving care and friendship.

Sorry to read about Joe's passing. I worked with him at the wastewater treatment plant and always enjoyed his fishing stories. May he rest in peace.
