John Young, 71, of Lockport, NY, passed away quietly on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his immediate family, his wife Pat; his daughters, Julie (Harvey) Ausman and Jennifer (Gary Bell) Young; and his brother, Gary Young. He is also survived by a two granddaughters, Sarah Ausman and Elaine Ausman; and a brother, Wayne Young.

He will be missed by the many who called him husband, father, friend, uncle and grandpa. Per his request, there will be no funeral with a celebration of his life planned for a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to the Gates Vascular Institute, the American Heart Association or Patriot Paws (service dogs for veterans).
