John C. Clare, age 82 of Albion, died December 15, 2020 in the Martin Linsin Residence following a brief illness. He was born November 6, 1938 in North Tonawanda and had lived in this area over 17 years.
John was an Operating Engineer for various construction companies in WNY and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. John also had a love for farming which he developed as a young boy helping on his family farm. John was greatly loved by his family and many friends, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Clare was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Carmen Clare. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara; a son, Andrew (Kristen) Clare of WA; daughters, Annlyn Klinetob of Medina, Brenda (Timothy) McCormick of Wolcottsville, Heather (Nelson) Cook of VA; his siblings, Kathleen (James) LaRoche of PA, Richard (Nancy) Clare of Akron, Mary Louise (David) Williams of MO; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours and his service and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
