Joan  Pearson
Joan (Wolfe) Pearson, RN, 84, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2020 at Elderwood at Lockport.
Joan graduated from Buffalo General School of Nursing and worked at area hospitals before joining Harrison Radiator Division of GM. She completed her Certified Occupational Health Nurse Degree in 1980 and retired in 1995 as Nursing Supervisor after 33 years of service. Joan donated her body to the UB Anatomical Gift Program.
Joan enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great granddaughter.
Joan volunteered for The Kenan Art Council and The Niagara County Historical Society, was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gasport Chemical Hose Co. and enjoyed worshipping as a lifetime member of The First Presbyterian Church of Lockport.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Norman Pearson; his children, Eric (Tammy) Pearson and Pamela (Scott) Brauer; grandchildren, Savannah Pearson, MIDN 3/C Mackenzie Pearson, Maron (Eric) Barraclough, Luke (Devyn Woelfle) Brauer; and great-granddaughter, Charlee Barraclough; sister, MaryAnn (late Skip) Flowers; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Milford and Florence (Ryan) Wolfe; sister, Alice (Bill) Taylor; and nephew, Bill Taylor.
A service to honor her life will be celebrated at a later date.
Memorials appreciated to the First Presbyterian Church of Lockport, 21 Church Street, Lockport.

There are so many wonderful times that Norm, Joan, Jim and I spent together. We traveled together, played cards, took long rides to see the fall leaves and much more. How I wish we could turn back time. Joan will be greatly missed.. She was very special!
