Buffalo, New York - Jeffrey S. Phillips, of Lockport, NY, entered into rest Friday, July 25, 2025 at Buffalo General Hospital. Husband of Pamela (Sarchia) Phillips and son of the late Charles and Beverly (Smith) Phillips, he was born on February 12, 1960 in Newfoundland, Canada.
Jeff grew up in Barker and was a 1978 graduate of Barker Central. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved being a billiards player on Team Mystic. He enjoyed baseball, the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Sabres, the New York Knicks, Rusty Wallace and being a part of the Lancaster pit crew.
He was the father of Lindsay Phillips, Brandon (Sarah) Phillips and Shane (Melissa) Phillips. Brother of Terri (Jerry) Smyers, Leslie (John) Riddle, Dana (Cheryl) Phillips, Brian Phillips, the late Charles Phillips, and brother-in-law of Cindy Phillips.
Jeff is also survived by his three grandchildren, Claire, Callie and Colton Phillips, and several nieces and nephews.
He was a best friend to Jim Boyer, Mike Brawdy and the late Mike Dent, and Papa of his precious dog, Baby Girl Ema.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 4-7 PM, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM.
