James H. McCoy
James H. McCoy passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. Born in Erie, PA, on October 24, 1951, he was the son of the late Howard and Rita Illig McCoy.
James worked for General Motors for 44 years, the past 13 years at GM Powertrain in Tonawanda as a tow motor operator. He enjoyed hunting, garage sales and spending time with his family.
James is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan (nee Rohring) McCoy; father of Kenneth (Carrie) McCoy, Wesley (Kayley Smith) McCoy and Matthew McCoy; grandfather of Christian, Caiden and Kendra. He was the brother of Anne (Jon) Goodman, Constance McCoy, Mary (Mike) Ford, Kevin (Tina) McCoy, Pamela (Mike) Buckley and the late John McCoy; son-in-law of Madalyn Holt; and brother-in-law of Beth (Harry) Westfall and the late Wayne Rohring. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 21st 4-7 PM at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, with a closing prayer at 7 PM. Online condolences at pruddenandkandt.com.

Transferred to Tonawanda in 2013 and worked with Jimmy as fork lift operator since then...great guy always willing to share his knowledge with us younger guys in the plant. Rest easy brother!!! My deepest most heartfelt condolences to his entire family, you are all in my prayers!
