Irene E. Lynch Obituary
Irene E. Lynch, age 94 of Wilson, passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2019. She was born August 29, 1924 in Buffalo to the late Albert and Elizabeth (Burkhart) Rostin.
Irene loved to knit tend to her flowers. She loved all animals and especially loved spending time with her cats. She worked as a housekeeper at Newfane Hospital before she retired. Irene was a fun loving and generous person to many.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur G. Gillis; second husband, Andrew A. Lynch; son, Arthur Gillis, Jr.; siblings, Florence Schrader and Albert Rostin.
Irene is survived by her daughters, Edith (Gil) Seekings, Deborah Gillis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave., Newfane, NY 14108, on Friday, July 26th from 1:00-2:00 PM where her memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM.
