Helen Ada (Pettitt)  Stetson
Helen Ada (Pettitt) Stetson, 81 of Lockport, NY, passed away Sunday morning, January 12, 2020, at home. Helen was born October 5, 1938 to the late Helen (Loeffler) Pettitt and George Pettitt of Newfane, NY.
Helen was retired from Wyndham Lawn Home for Children after 30 years of service, was a long-time member of the Redmen's Club and the Moose Lodge, an avid bowler and a regular bingo player at the Dale Association. She enjoyed getting together with her family and friends and loved her cat, Lady. Also, she had many dear friends at The Spires in Lockport, NY, where she was a longtime resident.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Stetson.
Helen is survived by her step-mother, Marion Pettitt; siblings, James Pettitt, Steven Pettitt, Charles Pettitt, Linda Stover and Edward (Lisa) Pettitt; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and her dear friend, Agnes "Aggie" Winchell, who was like a sister to her.
Helen donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Program at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. A Memorial Service and interment at Skinnerville Cemetery will be announced at a later date.

I am sorry for your loss of Helen . I will always remember her as she helped at my aunt Nina and Walter Wrzos of millersport lumber . Us kids were young so I do not remember when exactly that was . She was always so kind . She was a great person .

Omg I can't believe she passed. I just seen her like not to long ago when i worked at the soup kitchen. Very nice lady. I've known her since i was a little girl. Rip. Sending my love n prayers to the family.
