Gail S. Christy. age 69, August 19, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital with her loving husband by her side.

Born March 21, 1952 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Warren and June (Hilbrecht) Brauer.

Gail owned and operated Christy's Sub Shop in Lockport. After moving to the Waterport area, she and her husband, Wayne, owned and operated the Bent Utensil, making spoon rings, pendants and bracelets. They loved selling their jewelry at craft shows because the met many nice people along the way. Gail was known as "Mrs. Christmas" and "Snowflake" because she loved the winter, especially snowstorms. She was an animal lover and had two golden retrievers, Buster and Gus. Gail was considered a late bloomer because she didn't get her drivers license until she was 41 years old.

Survived by her husband, Wayne, of 52 years; son, Brian (Kim) Christy; grandchildren, Magdelin and Bishop; brothers, Gary (Marsha) Brauer, Douglas (Karen) Brauer; nephew, Todd; nieces, Susan, Wendy Kay, Heidi Kay; and many cousins.

There are no prior calling hours. Her Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
