Our Mother, Evelyn M. Zeitz , 81 passed away on November 12, 2023 in DeLand, FL. where she resided for the past two years. She also made her home in Varysburg, NY. for the past 20 years. Evelyn was born July 3, 1942 in Batavia, NY. She is the daughter of the late Sidney and Ethel Gardepe. Evelyn graduated from Lockport Senior School in 1960. Evelyn was a loving Mom, who enjoyed gardening, and caring for her dogs. She also enjoyed researching her family tree.
In addition to parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her husbands Donald Fry and Burton Zeitz of Lockport, NY. also her partner Douglas Burg of Varysburg, NY. and a daughter Kristine R. Fry. Sisters Lois Kyzmir, Frances Abel, her brother George "Vic" Gardepe.
Evelyn is survived by daughters Denise (Thomas)
Grosskopf, Michele (Gary) Klineline, of DeLand, FL. Alicia Ferris (Robert Gerace) of Batavia, NY. and son Jeffrey (Andrea) Fry of Lockport, NY. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, brother Edward Gardepe of Sarasota, FL. and many nieced and nephews.
