Olcott, NY - Erma Lorraine (Fisher) Nowack passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025 at Newfane Rehab & Healthcare Center.
Erma was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward and Jessie Fisher. She was known for Erma's Olcott Bowl and Erma's Coney Island Restaurant. She also worked as an LPN at Beechwood.
Erma is best remembered for her warm, engaging and upbeat personality. She was known to always be hardworking, strong-willed, kind and generous.
She is predeceased by her late husband Raymond Nowack. Erma is survived by her daughter Michelle (Rogene) Styres, two grandchildren Sterling (Lonna) Styres and Jordan (Erik) Sabin, her brother David Fisher and two nieces, as well as her second family at Newfane Rehab.
Please join the family in a celebration of Erma's life on November 29th, 2025 at the Spruce and Sparrow from 3pm to 7pm, located at 2437 Johnson Creek Rd., Barker NY 14012.
Erma contributed an anatomical gift to University of Buffalo Medical School in the interest of science.
