Elizabeth Joan 'Betty' Blair passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital, after a brief illness. Betty was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on September 21, 1939 to the late Mona Krupia. She moved to Lockport, New York in 1965.
Betty was very young at heart. She worked at Ridge Road Express as a bus monitor. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three daughters, Anita Hamrick of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Seana Sullivan, and Kelly Sullivan (Christian Lemk) of Lockport. She adored her five grandchildren, Melissa (James) Eddy, Chad Hamrick, Mitchel Thrush, Stacy Thrush and Jacob Baggett; and her three great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Dylan, and Cameron Eddy. Betty is also survived by two brothers, James (Ann) Krupia, and John (Kathy) Krupia; and two sisters, Ann Krupia and Nancy (Frank) Ferrari all of Clarksburg, West Virginia, and a brother, Joe Krupia of Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Trixie.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Richard, Myron and Dale Krupia.
A private service will be held in West Virginia at the convenience of the family.
