Donald J. Daigler, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport, NY. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY on September 18, 1928, a son of the late Donald and Cornelia (Wendt) Daigler.

Mr. Daigler was a construction superintendent with Case Boring Company for over 50 years before retiring. He was a member of the Operating Engineer Local 463 and enjoyed farming and repairing anything that needed to be fixed.

Mr. Daigler is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Werth) Daigler; a son, Donald (Penny) Daigler; a grandson, Todd (Kristen) Daigler; a brother, Dan (JoAnn) Daigler; also many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Edna Daigler; brother of the late Charles and Norma Hayes and Helen Piskor.

His family will be present on Wednesday from 1-2 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery at North Ridge, Town of Cambria, NY.
