Gasport/Albion — Donald S. Bielicki, age 75, died October 3, 2023 in his brother Mike's residence following a long illness. He was born November 4, 1947 in Albion to Bernard and Regina (Swiercznski) Bielicki and had lived in this area for most of his life.

Don was a member of St. Brendan's on the Lake Parish, a 35-year member as well as Past President and Treasurer of the Gasport Lions Club, and enjoyed cooking and hunting. Don also loved traveling and had been all over the world with one of his favorite places being the Caribbean Islands.

He was a very family-oriented man and one of his most enjoyable activities was to watch his grandson play baseball.

Mr. Bielicki was predeceased by his wife Janis in 2009.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Bryon) Jopson of Rochester; his brother Michael (Pat) Bielicki of Medina; his sisters Judy (Mike) Osburn of Goshen, Patricia Morrison of London, England; his grandson Brandon Donald; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Don's Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14th in Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church, 106 S. Main St., Albion, NY, 14411, beginning at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gasport Lions Club, P.O. Box 81, Gasport, NY, 14067. Don's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.
