David S. Walker, age 79, of Barker, NY, entered into rest on Monday, November 7, 2016. Born April 26, 1937 in Lyndonville, David is the son of the late William and Gertrude (Turner) Walker.

He spent his years providing for his family as a building contractor in Barker. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener, loved playing cards and loved his family. He has impacted many lives through his kindness and generosity.

Beloved husband of Joleen Walker and loving father to five children, Jamie Pearson (Mariah Partsch), Andrea Pearson (Jayson Gambino), Danielle Walker (Patrick Young), Davenie Pavlock (Tony Pavlock), and Derek Walker (Christina Hangartner). Brother of Charlie and Ed Walker. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Bill and sister, Phyllis and Irene.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Thursday from 6 - 8 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 8 PM.

David will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
