Gasport/Barker: David M. Robinson, age 82, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2024 at his home. He was born August 14, 1941 in Newfane to the late Robert and Gertrude (Devereaux) Robinson.

Dave was a very active member of the Hartland Conservation Club, serving as president for several terms in the past. He enjoyed hunting and trapshooting all over the area, including at the family camp in the Southern Tier. Dave worked for GM as a pipe bender for over 30 years before he retired and then worked for Spalding Ace Hardware after retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas.

Dave is survived by his children, Russell (Caroline) Robinson, KristaAnn (Andy) Atwater, grandchildren, Alex Robinson, KaraAnn Atwater, Elijah-John Atwater, Lucas-Charles Atwater, Tessa-May Atwater, as well as several great-grandchildren.

A gathering to celebrate Dave's life will the held at the Hartland Conservationist Club, 3606 Orangeport Road, Gasport, NY 14067 on Tuesday, August 6th from 5:00-7:00pm.

Memorial contributions in Dave's name may be made to the Hartland Conservationist Club or to the Faith United Methodist Church Food & Clothing Pantry, 1449 Quaker Road, Barker, NY 14012.

David's arrangements have been entrusted to the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home of Middleport, NY.
