Clara Yvonne (Garver) McClanahan, January 22, 2017. Clara was a foster Mom of 35 foster children over the years and she loved crafts, bowling, beaches, camping and her children. Clara was a member of the Women's Auxiliary Lockport VFW #2535 and the Redmen Club.
Wife of Chris McClanahan. Daughter of Alan (Sherry) Garver, Donna Pahl Ackerman and Patricia Garver. Mother of David and Ben Free and Westley Garver. Grandmother of Gwendolyn. Sister of Joan LaSpada, Christina Bowes, Terry Garver, Amy (Chance) Garver, Lyndsay (Frank) Torcasio, Thomas (Lea) Laskey, Jr., Tonya (Chris) Liddell and Mary Liddell. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Clara's life will be held on Saturday, February 18th starting at 4 PM at the Redmen's Club, 25 W. Main Street, Lockport, NY.
