Charles Beney, 85 years old of Niagara Falls, passed away on November 25, 2021 at Lockport Memorial Hospital. He was born in Niagara Falls on June 18, 1936, the son of the late Reginald and Helen (O'Brien) Beney.

He attended St. Mary's Parochial School, Bishop Duffy High School and received his Master's Degree in Education from Niagara University. He was a member of the National Guard and on October 17, 1964 was married to Karen Berdick at St. Teresa's Church. He was a Counselor and Manager at the New York State Employment Office for many years and was past president of the Niagara Falls Kiwanis. Mr. Beney was an avid golfer and shot three holes in one.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen (Berdick) Beney; his sons, Kevin Beney and Dr. Christopher (Amy) Beney; his grandchildren, Hillary Beney, Alexander Beney, Emma Rose Beney, Ashlyn Beney and Jackson Beney; his sister, Margaret Rougeux and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Robert Beney.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 until 6 pm at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC. 356 Portage Road. THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT ALL IN ATTENDANCE WEAR FACE MASKS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. Please assemble at church. Interment in Gate of Cemetery.
