Betty B. Carmer, wife of the late William D. Carmer Jr., passed away on March 6, 2025. Betty was born May 25, 1925, to Fred and Elsie Feltz in Newfane, NY where she was raised and spent the greater part of her life raising her own family. She was a lifelong attendant of the First Baptist Church.
Besides her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by their son, William F. Carmer as well as her sister Olive and brothers Irving (Dick), Robert and Howard (Firp). Betty is survived by her daughters, Gayle Maynard, Darlene Carey and Patti (Kevin) Bluhm; grandchildren Charles (Kathleen) Maynard, Cori (Anthony Romo) Maynard, Shawn Carey, Shanlee (David Farkas) Carey, Kristen Bluhm, Kevin P. (Jennifer) Bluhm, Bridget Bluhm; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2670 Main Street, Newfane NY on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2pm until 4pm. Memorial service to follow by Rev. Kim Smith.
