Arthur H. Kane Obituary

Arthur H. Kane, age 88, of Lockport, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Born October 6, 1930 in Albion, NY, Arthur is the son of the late Arthur and Rose Kane.

Arthur was a graduate of Lockport High School. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Art married Barbara Oakes September 19, 1953 in Royalton. He worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport as a tool and die welder retiring in 1987 after 38 years.

Art was organizer and charter member of the Terry's Corners Volunteer Fire Company and also a charter member of the Federal Credit Union. He enjoyed farming, playing cards at Terry's Corners Volunteer Fire Company with his friends and spending time with his family.

Surviving Art is his loving wife, Barbara Kane; father of Sandra Erbland, Jay Kane, and Barbara Kane; grandfather of Brandon (Cherylynn) Brinley, Bryon (Alicia) Brinley, Justin Kane and T.J. (Sarah) Huston; brother of the late Evelyn Prahler, Helen Dempsey and Marion Stockwell. Also survived by six great-grandchildren.

There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
