Alice L. Alexander Obituary

Alice Louise Alexander, age 82, of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest on November 13, 2017 at Buffalo General Medical Hospital. Born in Lockport, NY on August 2, 1935, daughter of the late Wallace and Mary (Monkelbaan) Moje.

Alice was a 50-year member of the Shawnee Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she held many offices, and a member of Liberty Pennsylvania Ladies Auxiliary.

Predeceased by her husband, James N. Alexander; son, Kenneth; and brother, Robert Moje. Survivors include six children, William (Sandra) Singleton, Karen (Michael) Schleicher, Richard (Cheryl) Singleton, Peggy Warne, Diane Salverson, and Mary (Thomas) Schneider; and four sisters, Rosemary Miller, Ann Maerten, Barbara Hobart, and Rickie Moje; 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to join with the family at the Shawnee Fire Company, Lockport Road, Wheatfield, on November 21st at 5 PM, with a celebration of life at 6 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shawnee Ladies Auxiliary, or Niagara Hospice.

Arrangements were with the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME.
