Chicago, Illinios - Aaron Thomas Seekins was born on February 11, 1974, in Lockport, New York, and was a 1992 graduate of Lockport Senior High School. He passed away on April 18, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

Born and raised in Lockport, Aaron was an artist and talented basketball player with a natural ability to connect with people — he was truly everybody's friend. After high school, he traveled the country before choosing Chicago as his home and where he built his life.

Aaron worked in Chicago as a skilled hairdresser, colorist, and men's groomer. He was passionate about his craft, earning recognition as an educator for Bumble and Bumble and V76, and working as a celebrity hair stylist.

Known for his charm, humor, and striking presence, Aaron had a personality that drew people in. An avid runner, he completed three Chicago Marathons and was always on the move, embracing the energy of the city he loved most—Chicago.

Aaron is survived by his partner, Ana Oviedo; his parents, Thomas and Paula (Nevins) Seekins; his sister, Adrienne Seekins Kuzma (Joseph Blaszczak); his niece and nephew, Keira Kuzma and Kolton Kuzma; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Aaron will be missed beyond words. In accordance with the family's wishes, services will be held privately.
