Timothy Paul's Story
Timothy Paul Brady was born in Lockport, NY. Tim lived and worked in Nyack, NY. He graduated from Lockport High School in 1966 and while a high school student, worked as an announcer at Lockport's WUSJ. He attended SUNY at Geneseo and was employed by the Irvington School District and owned his own business, EDIT Sight and Sound. He was a talented musician that played with local groups in the Nyack area.
He was the son of the late Norman and Veronica (Foltz) Brady. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Knowles) Brady of Nyack; children Ian (Amanda) Brady of San Diego, CA and Emily Brady and her fiance', Christopher Johnson of Nyack; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Demidovich of Pendleton, NY and Damien (Mary Kay) Brady of Lockport, NY; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Roxanne) Knowles of Florida; and sister-in-law, Betsy (Knowles) and Joseph Sliwa of New Jersey. Tim was predeceased by his sister, Veronica (Babe) Sullivan; and his
brother-in-law, Nickolas Demidovich. He is survived by his aunts, Elsie Brady, Hazel Calos; and his uncle, Paul (Jean) Foltz; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private viewing was held June 10, 2017 in Nyack, NY. He worked professionally with many theatrical performers, musicians, colleagues and friends presenting countless public and private events. A musical tribute is planned for Tim on July 23, 2017 at Hook Mountain State Park in Nyack, NY. Tim was generous with his time and talent and will be greatly missed. Memorial donations can be made in Tim's name to the Rockland Family Shelter, 9 Johnson Lane, New City, NY 10956.
