Thomas C.'s Story
Thomas C. Hopkins, of West Palm Beach, Florida, died on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at TrustBridge Hospice. He was 65. Tom was born on March 23, 1952 to Charlie and Irene (Stephenson) Hopkins.
He was a 1970 Graduate of DeSales Catholic High School, Lockport NY.
Tom had a close bond with his Dad, and passed on his father's birthday. Tom lived a full life and made sure he used all of his God-given talents to the fullest. He loved sports and was extremely talented in renovating, re-purposing and bringing new life to items and homes that had seen better days. He was an excellent cook that left an impression on all who enjoyed one of his meals. Tom could be funny, tenacious and at times prickly. He had the will to face any challenge. He will be missed.
He is survived by his sister, Joan Hopkins, and her husband, Greg Nielsen of Westport, MA; many friends, cousins and his quasi-grandson, Noah.
In lieu of a memorial service, the family requests that you take a moment to tell someone in your life how much they mean to you. Be kind. Be helpful. Be love.
