Janice Holzman's Story
On September 17th the Lord came and took Janice home. She was born in Buffalo on May 1, 1943 to Clayten and Esther Goodemote Holzman.
Janice was a graduate of Starpoint and later went back to school to become an LPN. She worked at Lockport's hospital for many years. She eventually retired from Briarwood.
Janice enjoyed sewing and doing crafts, spending time with her family and friends at the senior citizen center.
Janice is survived by her children, Douglas (Holly) Spedding of Florida, Rebecca (Ray) Renouf, Todd (Charlene) Spedding of Lockport and Allan Spedding of Buffalo. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Lisa Spedding of SC, Bradley and Lilley of Lockport, Anthony Spedding of Florida, Frederick Baldwin, Jr. and Mathew Lequeux, both of Lockport. Also great-grandmother of Ciara Greggs.
There will be a service at the United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., on October 7 at 10:30 AM.
