Howard Alton Hill, September 6, 2017 at Millard Fillmore Suburban with his family at his side, born January 17, 1930 in Oshwjekwen, Ontario, Canada to the late Norman F. and Mae (Evert) Hill.
He attended school until 8th grade then went to work and moved from Brantford in 1958. Howard worked for 30 plus years at the Ransomville Cold Storage Facility as its manager.
He met and married Jean Margerite (Valade) in Brantford. A member of All Saints Church in Lockport,
he enjoyed bingo, wood working and the casino.
Surviving besides his wife of 68 years, are Richard (Barbara) Hill, Carl (Cheryl) Hill, and Beverly Behm; grandchildren, April, Christopher, Trisha, Andrew, Brandi, and Desiree; 10 great-grandchildren and a brother and sister; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 PM and 7-9PM in the Ross Funeral Home, Gaul Chapel, 263 East Avenue, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 AM in All Saints Church in Lockport. rossfuneraldirectors.com
