Amy L. Ives, 53 passed away unexpectedly August 18, 2017 in Leominster, MA. She was the daughter of the Rev. Charles A. Deacon and the late Ann L. (Dobbs) Deacon, and beloved wife of Jack Ives.
Amy graduated from Lockport Senior High School and Empire State College. She worked at Precision Optics Corporation in Gardner, MA. She was involved in the International Association of Administrative Professionals - Appleseed Chapter. Amy worked tirelessly with Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts.
In addition to her husband and her father, Amy is survived by her step-daughter, Valdeva (Matt) Crema; her grandchildren, Rosco, Levon, and Maggie Crema. She is also survived by her sister, Martha (Ron) Kershaw; a very special niece, Elizabeth; her brother, Andrew (Barbie) Deacon; nephews Stephen and Henry Deacon along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial will be held at Glenwood Cemetery September 23 at 3 PM followed by a celebration of her life.
Donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
