William F.'s Story

William F. Weeks, born on March 29, 1932, passed away on August 12, 2017, surrounded by family members in Buffalo General's Hospice unit.
Bill worked for the City of Lockport street crew before working at Simonds Steel Mill until his retirement. He loved growing roses, swimming, was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and loved helping the local Rage football team. The thing he loved most was family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Sacca) Weeks; his three children, Dianae, Linda, and David Weeks; and step-children, David (Glenda) Chausse, Annette (Steven) DeNies, and Christopher Chausse. Also survived by one sister, Paula (Daniel) Watson; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Concetta Weeks; sister, Marie Spencer; and brother, Edward Weeks.
A memorial service will be held at St. John The Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, on Saturday, September 9th, at 11:00 AM.
