Walter was my grandfather Whit's brother. Both men were inspirational examples of solid, good people - as were their parents Ruth and Ralph. I enjoyed reuniting with Uncle Walter and Aunt Shirley a few summers ago at their home. Uncle Walt had such a wonderful sense of humor. I know he will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to Aunt Shirley and their children and grandchildren.

Walter has always been someone that I looked up to. His faith and God's love was such a part of his time with us all. His legacy is one to be remembered with pride. Hopefully he will be getting our Wilson reunion ready for us in heaven. Love to all as we celebrate his going home. Proud to be his first cousin.

Walter Evans was always so kind to the friends of his children. He and Shirley were amazing people and they brightened up the lives of young people with whom they interacted. Mr. Evans always shared a smile and a kind world. So sad to hear of his passing, condolences to the family.

Had so much fun reminiscing with Uncle Putt and
Aunt Shirley on our last visit. We laughed and laughed together hearing their "bygone days" stories. Uncle Putt kept saying "Tell them the story about.......Shirley!!!" Such precious memories. Love and Hugs!!!!
